To make this refreshing Southern-style tea punch, you’ll need:

  • Tea Base:

    • 3 cups boiling water
    • 12 sprigs fresh mint
    • 4 tea bags (black tea preferred)

  • Sweetener & Citrus Flavor:

    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 1 cup orange juice
    • ¼ cup lemon juice
    • 5 cups cold water

  • Garnish:

    • 3 orange slices
    • 3 lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Steep the Tea:

    • Place tea bags and mint sprigs in a large pitcher.
    • Pour boiling water over them and let steep for 8 minutes.
    • Remove and discard the tea bags and mint, squeezing out excess liquid.

  2. Sweeten the Tea:

    • Stir in sugar while the tea is still warm until completely dissolved.

  3. Add Citrus & Cold Water:

    • Pour in orange juice, lemon juice, and cold water, stirring well to combine.

  4. Serve & Garnish:

    • Serve over ice cubes, garnished with orange and lemon slices.
