To make easy sriracha salt, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 cup coarse sea salt or kosher salt
- ⅓ cup sriracha
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of coarse sea salt or kosher salt with ⅓ cup of sriracha. Stir until completely combined and the salt is evenly coated.
- Spread the sriracha salt mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and immediately turn off the heat. Let the sriracha salt sit in the oven for 60-90 minutes, stirring once or twice to break up clumps. The salt should be completely dry before removing.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the salt cool completely.
- Break up any clumps by mashing the salt in a mixing bowl or rolling over it with a rolling pin.
- Transfer the cooled sriracha salt to an airtight jar or container for storage.
