Ingredients

Scale

To make easy sriracha salt, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup coarse sea salt or kosher salt
  • ⅓ cup sriracha

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of coarse sea salt or kosher salt with ⅓ cup of sriracha. Stir until completely combined and the salt is evenly coated.
  3. Spread the sriracha salt mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the oven and immediately turn off the heat. Let the sriracha salt sit in the oven for 60-90 minutes, stirring once or twice to break up clumps. The salt should be completely dry before removing.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the salt cool completely.
  6. Break up any clumps by mashing the salt in a mixing bowl or rolling over it with a rolling pin.
  7. Transfer the cooled sriracha salt to an airtight jar or container for storage.
