 Crispy High Protein Waffles are a fast, nutritious breakfast packed with protein and fiber to fuel your day. Light and crispy on the outside with a soft, flavorful inside, they’re easy to customize and perfect for busy mornings or post-workout meals.

  • 1/3 cup protein powder (32g)
  • 1/4 cup flour (35g)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup egg whites or additional water
  • 1/4 cup yogurt or applesauce
  • 2 tbsp sweetener of choice
  • 2 tsp oil (optional for crispy waffles)

Instructions

  1. Whisk protein powder, flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
  2. Stir in water, egg whites or additional water, yogurt or applesauce, and sweetener to form a batter. Add more liquid as needed, a tablespoon at a time, to achieve the desired waffle batter consistency.
  3. Preheat the waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Grease the waffle iron well once it is hot.
  4. Pour batter into the center of the waffle iron and close. Cook according to the manufacturer’s directions until the waffle is light and crispy. Re-grease the waffle iron before making each waffle.
