To make this cheesy and flavorful tuna melt, you’ll need:
- 2 English muffins, halved
- 2 (5-ounce) cans tuna, drained
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 3 tablespoons diced celery
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 slices Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Set the air fryer to 325°F (165°C).
- Toast the English Muffins:
- Place the sliced English muffins in the air fryer.
- Toast until lightly browned, about 2 to 4 minutes.
- Remove and set aside.
- Make the Tuna Salad:
- In a bowl, mix together tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, celery, onion, salt, and pepper.
- Stir until fully combined.
- Assemble the Tuna Melts:
- Divide the tuna mixture into 4 equal portions.
- Spread the tuna mixture onto each English muffin half.
- Top each with 1 slice provolone cheese and 1 slice Cheddar cheese.
- Melt the Cheese in the Air Fryer:
- Return the assembled muffins to the air fryer.
- Air fry until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5 to 8 minutes.
- Serve & Enjoy:
- Remove from the air fryer and serve hot.
